Behavior Therapy

We offer behavioral counseling for pets spanning a variety of unwanted behaviors, such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, or aggression. Behavioral problems can be challenging and frustrating for both pets and pet owners, so it is our goal to work diligently with you towards a solution.

Orthopedics

Veterinary orthopedics addresses injuries of your pet's skeletal system, muscles, joints, and ligaments. Through physical exams, lab tests, and X-rays, we identify the cause of pain or the extent of any injury or illness. This allows us to tailor a treatment plan to keep your pet active and well.

Ophthalmology

If you are concerned about your pet’s eyes or vision, we can help. Our team diagnoses and treats a variety of ophthalmological issues, including but not limited to, dry eyes, cataracts, corneal infection or trauma, and glaucoma. It is important to report any changes in your pet’s eyes or vision during their routine veterinary visits.

Cardiology

Veterinary cardiology is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular disease in pets. If your furry friend is exhibiting signs such as rapid breathing, coughing, reduced appetite, fatigue, weakness, or difficulty exercising, call our team to schedule a visit to our hospital to see if there is a cardiac-related issue going on.

Oncology

A cancer diagnosis for your pet can be scary. Our veterinary team is here to help guide you in finding the right treatment for your pet. We have extensive experience in treating pet cancers (and almost every pet can be helped to some degree!) For some pets, that may mean a cure; for others, we focus on palliative treatments that provide an improved quality of life.

Endocrinology

Endocrinology is focused on the key glands of your pet's endocrine system: the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, adrenals, ovaries, and testes. Releasing hormones directly into the bloodstream, they orchestrate the regulation of essential bodily functions. Early detection of disorders within your pet's endocrine system is crucial to allow proper treatment to begin.

Physical Rehabilitation

Physical rehabilitation is often prescribed to pets with arthritis, mobility limitations, degenerative neurological conditions and/or orthopedic surgical recovery. Depending on the condition, exercises are performed to increase range of motion, improve balance, and overall muscle strength for your furry friend. Pain reduction is an important part of rehab and is managed through a variety of modalities.

Pain Management

Our veterinarians are committed to pinpointing the source of your pet's discomfort and helping you understand how to identify signs of pain as animals instinctively hide pain from humans. Pain management is one of our primary considerations when treating a pet for any medical condition.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy, a gentle and non-invasive option, often complements physical therapy or rehabilitation for pets. It's a pain-free way to reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and enhance healing. This treatment is good for post-surgical patients, and pets with chronic arthritis, skin conditions, muscle strains and sprains, joint or disc disease, wounds, bites and burns.
