Wilkinson Animal Hospital offers pet bathing and grooming services, Monday through Friday, for dogs and cats. Our clients love our convenient “one-stop” service. Have your pet bathed and groomed the same day you drop him off for his check-up or other service.
Our experienced staff will ensure your pet is clean, free of any fleas or ticks, and looks great for you when you come back to pick him up! We also do therapeutic bathing for skin and coat problems.
Health, Vaccine, and Parasite Requirements for Grooming
To keep our facilities a healthy, happy environment and to help ensure the protection of all pets under our care, we require the following health, vaccine, and parasite control measures for all our guests:
Dogs: Current DHPP (Distemper-Parvo Combo), Bordetella, Rabies and a Fecal Exam (within 12 months or within 6 months if not on a regular parasite prevention program)
Cats: Current FVRCP (Distemper Combo), Rabies and a Fecal Exam (within 12 months or within 6 months if not on a regular parasite prevention program)
If your pet is due for vaccinations or a fecal check, we require to have them updated at least 3 days before boarding. Please call ahead of time to schedule a pre-boarding wellness and vaccination visit.
New Patients for Bathing & Grooming Services: To ensure we understand your pet's health status and needs, we require an exam by one of your veterinarians at least 3 days prior to admission for all new patients. If any required vaccinations or parasite treatments need to be updated, we can take care of it at that time.
Medical, Dental, or Surgical Services while your pet is here for Bathing & Grooming Services: Our full-service veterinary hospital is connected to the bathing & grooming facility, and we are happy to provide medical services for your pet while here for a spa day. (Some surgeries or dentals may not be able to be provided depending on the situation). To ensure communication is clear, we ask that you schedule an in-person appointment or a "drop off" inpatient visit with our doctor on the day of admission. We must be able to communicate with you on the day your pet is admitted to make sure we can discuss any questions or concerns.
