For you, your pet’s, and our staff’s safety, we have implemented the following procedures during these unprecedented times. To limit contact and exposure, we are seeing pets via “curbside” and ask that you drop your pet off with us or wait in your car during the appointment.
For pets staying with us all day (procedures, surgery, treatments, or bathing), you must arrive before 8:30 AM. Pick up will be later in the day (usually after 4 pm).
For pets being seen and released as soon as possible, you will be given a time to arrive. The time it takes to take care of your pet will vary widely. Expect a call from us for more information or to discuss treatment and discharge instructions.
When you arrive in the parking lot, please wait in your car. Call us at 704-824-9876 and let us know you are in the parking lot and provide us with your contact number for the day.
We will let you know as soon as we are ready to admit your pet. At that point, you will come inside the door where an assistant will admit your pet. (We will exchange leashes or take your pet in a carrier).
Please go back to your car after your pet is admitted. If your pet is not being admitted for the entire day, you may wait in the parking lot but expect a long wait time. As long as you will answer your phone and be ready to come back to pick up your pet, you may leave.
We will call you if we need more information or when your pet is ready. Please be prepared to come back to the hospital when you receive the discharge call. You may receive several calls at various stages of your pet’s visit.
