The other day, I had the opportunity to be involved in the reunion of a little, sweet Italian Greyhound, Bemis, who had been lost for 7 years, reunite with his owner from California (see the link below). I was privileged to be able to examine Bemis and provide him with a health certificate for his “ticket home” to California. Though I only met him once, he was a very loving little guy. So I got to thinking about all this….
